Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup brownie mix dry
- 1/4 cup hot water
Instructions:
Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin
Mix the flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl with a whisk
The mashed bananas, melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract should all be mixed together well in a different bowl
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix just until everything is combined
The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in
Mix the brownie mix with hot water until smooth in a separate small bowl
This is how you make the brownie batter
First put a spoonful of the banana cupcake batter into each cupcake liner
Then put a spoonful of the brownie batter into each liner
Switch between the two batters and do this again until the liners are about two thirds full
After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean
First, let the cupcakes cool in the pan for a few minutes
Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely
After the cupcakes have cooled, you can make the rich brownie frosting by beating the rest of the brownie mix with softened butter until it is smooth and creamy
Once the cupcakes are cool, pipe or spread the brownie frosting on them
These Chocolate Banana Brownie Batter Cupcakes are ready to be served and enjoyed!
