This dish pairs perfectly with the 2014 Chateau de Lascaux AOC Languedoc. The herb-crusted lamb brings out the wine's bold flavors, while the roasted vegetables complement its earthy undertones.
Ingredients:
- 4 lamb chops
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Assorted vegetables for roasting such as carrots, potatoes, and onions
Instructions:
Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C
Put breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Add rosemary, thyme, parsley, and rosemary
Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the lamb chops and gently press it on to stick
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat
Grill the lamb chops for two to three minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown
Put the lamb chops in a baking dish
Set up the vegetables around them
Roast in an oven that has been heated up for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft and the lamb is cooked to your liking
