HAPPY CNY 🎉🎉🎉

How is CNY for everyone?

I fell sick on the second day of CNY... :((
Well, we're nearing to the end of CNY with February coming to an end in just a few days.

Cons of falling sick during CNY...

I only can look at the beautiful display and drool...

and blame myself for falling sick...

Right now,

I'm in a mood to travel~~~  
So let us teleport back to last summer....

Summer is all about the beach and the sun.
And not to leave out the heatwaves... 🌊

We're headed for Tai O

My aunt told me before-hand that we're heading to the sea so here i am,
with minimal makeup on.
Partially cuz i'm lazy and wanna make time for more sleep
(picture on the right made me seem like i have freckles...)

Can't wait to use new things ehhhh 😂
Well it is also convenient, i don't have to flip my bag inside out for my bus pass.

Welcome to Tai O~~

Well, i don't know about you but when i saw this...

I thought i was brought to the wrong place...

Looks like i'm in the middle of nowhere...

ARE WE LOST?

Then i was told to look behind -_-

From this angle, the wall looks like it has been splattered with blood 🌚

But yea. that's where the sea is.
Not that anyone wanna swim in that...



Somewhere around the entrance,
there's an attraction which brings you to have a glimpse of dolphins.
If you're lucky, that is.

Off we go on these boats to enjoy some sea breeze~~

WELLZ,
we didn't have any luck that day.
I was able to see tons and tons of jellyfish floating on the surface of the sea.
So i doubt you wanna go swimming or diving...

Just a little disappointed, but hey the sea breeze felt awesome~

We get to pass through their residential area which was build on water.
After touring on the sea, it's time to get on our feet and continue our tour around the Tai O market.

This store sells dried fruits like sour plum, dried orange skin, etc.
Even though my mum is just there checking it out, she ends up buying quite a number of bottles.😂

These fishcakes tastes so awesome!!

Although one looked charred.. it's just squid ink

We can't get enough of it...

The chewy-ness, the tasteeeee goshhhh

If only we're not saving some space in our tummy i would buy a lot more.

 But hey, we gotta try food that we can only find there~

Look at the amount of badges 😱

Can you count how many eyes are staring into you?

Did i mention how much i love beancurd?
Over here, they don't add sugar syrup before-hand for you.
 Most places don't even use sugar syrup!
What's more, i have never seen this type of sugar...not in Singapore so far.
The orangey colored sugar... perhaps is 红糖 ?
If im gonna direct translate it , it shall be red sugar. 😂

The heat was killing me there so ice cream time~~

After shopping under the scorching heat, it's time for air-conditioned shopping.
YASSSS.
We went to a factory outlet mall.
Tons of discounts everywhere.

Left: 50 % off
Right: 50% off bottoms, 40% off others

Well , i wasn't able to find anything i fancy though...
 I ended up window-shopping..



 Alright, moving on....
we're infront of the supermarket with a newly purchased luggage to carry supplies of instant noodles😂

i can't remember what i was trying to do here. my mum was laughing at me...

Yup, the luggage came in handy alright.

From this picture, you can see how fast my aunt ran to pay for the instant noodles...


After so much walking , running, shopping.
My tummy was gonna disappear.
My ears perks up when they say we're gonna have western food for dinner at a remarkable place.
😋

And so, we're in a mall that carries luxury goods~~
But we're not here for the goods but the food~~
FOODDDD~~

Salad for starters~
It's been so long i can't really remember the name of the dish.. oh dear..
If i'm not wrong it's goat cheese with roasted duck...
 The cheese was so full of flavor
Yup, a cheesy cheese salad here.

YASSSS BEEFFFFFF~~
Australian beef with red wine sauce.
Asparagus gave it a refreshing taste
and ginger spiced it up without covering the sweetness of the beef.
The beef was so tender...~~~ so yummyyyyy.
This beef held first in my heart till i tried the flat iron at charcoal pit...sorry...😴


& this was what my aunt ordered~

Gosh looking at the photo now makes me wanna go back there and eat it again...




Really enjoyed my meal. HAHAHA.
After the meal, my dad checked the bill and was like...
"Hey, yours were the most expensive. Don't you dare say you didn't enjoyed it😂"



After feeding ourselves with luxury food, it's time to work those calories off...
We're headed for the Peak hill?? or the Hill's Peak.
 With the roads so steep, it seriously felt like im climbing a hill... in the city.



From those flatlands to steep ground...
i think i have been walking non-stop for more than an hour??
i wished i had a car...😭

All the effort are paid off~

There's that couple attraction so we asked my parents to take a photo. hehe😁

All of us just hanged out enjoying the breeze, the nightview till it was closed.
& so we were chased out 😂

So we gathered downstairs and got a candid shot.

I was really exhausted though , the way downhill felt like a chore.
Can't wait to get back to sleep on the comfy bed~~
I have to admit my family have really good stamina when it comes to travelling.
I'm like half-dead down there.😂
