These Honey BBQ Chicken Kabobs are a perfect blend of sweet and savory, with a sticky honey glaze that caramelizes on the grill. Easy to prepare and quick to cook, they are a crowd-pleaser for any barbecue or summer gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using

Place the chicken chunks in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over the chicken

Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat

Thread the marinated chicken chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a small space between each piece

Brush the skewers with the remaining marinade

Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char

Serve the Honey BBQ Chicken Kabobs hot off the grill, garnished with chopped parsley or sesame seeds if desired
